Insecticide-treated bed nets create a protective barrier against mosquitos at night, when the vast majority of transmissions occur. For just $10, we can purchase a bed net, deliver it to a family, and explain its use. In Angola, where malaria is the number one killer of children under five, a net might have made the difference for Domingos Antonic. Only eight months old, Domingos died shortly after contracting the disease, weighing just 16 pounds at the time of his death.
