Let us say thank you.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this World Malaria Day a success. Thank you to everyone who has devoted time, effort, energy, or money to help protect families from malaria. Thank you to the families across Africa who shared their stories of how malaria has touched their lives. Thank you to everyone who has helped spread the buzz that together, we can end malaria deaths.

We are so grateful to our wonderful partners who helped share our new fundraising effort Cover Africa, including NBA Cares, MLS WORKS, the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism, the band Dawes, WWE, the UN refugee agency, and others.

We’re thrilled at our Champions, including Golden State Warrior Stephen Curry and sportswriter Rick Reilly, for being such good sports and dressing up in nothing but nets to help raise awareness of the campaign. We’re excited that Jared Montz and the Online Soccer Academy juggled soccer balls across America to send nets and save lives. And we love how many friends, from recording artist Gavin DeGraw, to D.C. United player Dwayne De Rosario, to WWE Diva Natalya, to actress Serinda Swan, urged their fans to support us on World Malaria Day.

A big thanks to our committed colleagues across the malaria community for their dedication and support, including Malaria No More, Roll Back Malaria, PATH, the President’s Malaria Initiative, The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, Friends of the Global Fight, the ONE campaign and others. And we proudly recognize malaria’s tireless advocates in Congress, leaders of the malaria caucuses, senators Chris Coons and Roger Wicker and congressmen Ander Crenshaw and Greg Meeks.

The biggest thanks of all goes to our incredible donors. Together, your generosity has helped raise enough money to send more 16,700 nets to keep families across sub-Saharan Africa safe from malaria. We’re so close to our goal of sending 20,000 nets to mothers and children who need them most. And that’s thanks to you.

We also remember that families are at risk of this preventable disease 365 days a year, not just World Malaria Day. We’re committed to ending this disease. With your help, we can.

Thank you.
